By the end of 2018, state-owned financial capital under Central Huijin's management had reached RMB 4.5 trillion. Central Huijin held shares directly in 17 financial institutions, the total assets of which were RMB 118 trillion. At the end of 2018, the total market capitalization of 11 publicly listed holding companies was RMB 6.1 trillion, and the market capitalization of shares owned by Central Huijin was RMB 2.8 trillion.

Notes:

1. On 6 June, 2018, through public tender on Beijing Financial Assets Exchange, Central Huijin and Haier Group (Qingdao) Financial Holdings Ltd. (Haier) (“entered into a share transfer agreement according to which Central Huijin has agreed to transfer 398,500,000 domestic shares in CICC to Haier. As at the end of 2018, related procedures had not been completed. Such share transfer was completed on 11 March 2019 and Central Huijin’s direct shareholding in CICC reduced to approximately 46.18%.

2. In addition to the institutions above, Central Huijin Asset Management Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Central Huijin, was set up in November 2015 in Beijing. Central Huijin Asset Management Ltd. has a registered capital of RMB 5 billion and conducts assets management business.
